The new driving range at Imperial Golf Estate has been completed and was inaugurated by Mr. Kapil Dev.
It is 275 yards long and is spread across an area of 10 acres. There are 20 natural turf practice bays which can be shifted forward/ backward as and when repair is required for a particular area.
It also has a separate practice putting green and chipping green along with practice bunkers. The driving range has been completed in a record time of 7 months. -
Over 300 delegates from 45 countries came together at KPMG’s eighth annual Golf Business Forum, at the Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club in Dubai, UAE. Amongst them was Mr. Anit Mehrotra, CEO of SGDC, who was also part of the panel discussion on the current and future of golf development in India. Many important points like the biggest barriers facing golf courses and developers in India, most anticipated regions of development, concentration of golf courses in cities and the future of the sport and industry in India were discussed during this panel meeting.

SGDC has been empanelled by PUDA (Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority) for landscape, horticultural works and development of eco-tourism sites in the state of Punjab.
A tender was floated by the Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority for the empanelment of construction based companies to have first rights on carrying out a variety of landscape and horticultural developments in Punjab. SGDC, due to its years of experience and impeccable track record, received the honours to be empanelled by PUDA for all above mentioned developments.

A landscaping and jogging cum cycle track construction project is being carried out by SGDC in Bhatinda, Punjab. It is expected to be completed by the end of October 2011.
SGDC is in the final stages of completing a full scale landscaping assignment along with the construction of a jogging cum cycling track in Bhatinda, Punjab. The entire operation is going smoothly and the project is expected to be completed by October 2011.
